	C-4 explosive The US is the primary manufacturer of this high explosive designed for military use. This plastic explosive is highly malleable; soldiers mold it into different shapes to change the direction of the blast or pack it into tight cracks and crevasses to blow up reinforced walls. Designed to excel at night operations, Kiowas have advanced thermal imaging, laser rangefinder and optical boresight systems. Factoid: Kiowa Warriors were employed at night to search for and guard debris over Texas after the space shuttle Colombia disaster.
