Basra, Iraq—March 27, 2003: : During the opening phases of the War on Terror, your tank division encounters the ultimate roadblock: an incoming convoy of enemy tanks.

In Kuma\War’s recreation of an epic tank battle, you command the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, the “Desert Rats” tasked with pushing through Basra to take control of the city that’s festering with insurgents. When your convoy faces an admirable opponent along the way—a matching number of Iraqi tanks—the enemy draws a line in the sand that must be erased.

Both sides are crippled by the element of surprise, but it’s up to you to control the situation quickly. It takes fine maneuvering and quick actions to split your squad and head off the enemy from all directions. Strategize your troops’ movements and use the extraordinary firing capabilities of the Challenger 2 to stop the enemy from advancing.

It’s a tricky operation. If you succeed in overwhelming the tanks, are you prepared to take out the insurgents who flee on foot? The sudden surge of forces might test the confidence of any force. But as a commander of the Desert Rats, you’re not your average soldier.
