Mission 39 - Design & Production Notes
Bad Neighborhood

From a design communique:

Attached in this mail is the first shot of the new multiplayer area of Sadr City. It will be similiar to M16/M17 block, but much harder to control the streets with various interest points - one is of course the big building on the south where player (who controls it) has a great view of almost 1/3 of the map - mostly open street area!

When the action starts, teams can take many routes to meet the enemy - northern part will be very narrow, some of the building are open to enter (mainly on the corners). Light area is the area that players can access, everything else with the red lines and dark color is blocked by rubble, dirt and other stuff... BLUE (US) side starts on the open street, right area with main wide street is roadblocked, if the enemy pushes US side back to the start they can still hide from snipers among the wrecked cars and then counterattack. Same goes for the red side.

The beauty of it is that the battles will be big fun with good teams in this map, a real part of Sadr City (Al Thawra). Also, two big warehouse areas that are quite open are present so if just a few players are playing on it they can agree where to meet... that's the basics, hopefully you like the plan! I'm already putting the block together... today.
