Pages: 1 Jon Technical Lead, Customer Support Reged: 04/08/04 Posts: 337 Talk about what really happened       #2815 - 08/31/04 04:30 PM Edit   Reply   Quote   Spera, Afghanistan April 22, 2004 After witnessing a ruthless ambush by al Qaeda operatives, Army Rangers enter the line of fire to help free their comrades trapped in the kill zone. Operation Mountain Storm began less than a month ago. The large-scale endeavor, designed to root out al Qaeda and Taliban insurgents in the some of the most remote areas of Afghanistan, is being hailed a success. But frequent ambushes and attacks against US forces have not relented. The unfamiliar territory and dwindling light add to the inherent confusion of the surprise attack. For 20 minutes, Army Rangers battle to break the ambush of a dozen well-armed and unyielding insurgents. In this Kuma\War mission, we modeled a typical Ranger mission in honor of those Rangers who are serving our nation every day to protect our freedom.
