Operation Anaconda

• First, before you do anything, get control of your Ranger sniper. This is the guy that’s going to do most of the work protecting your team, and you want to control him directly.
• Beware of snipers. The ground forces will shoot at you, but your team can keep them busy. Snipers are vicious and quick. The snipers in the distance can take you out, so watch for them.
• Keep your back to the wall... or the ridge, or anything that gives cover. At the beginning, if you stay on the right side of the walls, the snipers can only hit you accurately from one side. You can keep watch on them, and avoid taking a lethal shot from behind.
• If the lead sniper dies during the mission, get one of your other guys to pick up his rifle. Just scroll the mouse over the fallen rifle, and snatch it up.
• Keep watch over the cursor. It will alert you to the enemy’s location, and help you spot snipers.
• Suppressing fire doesn’t always keep enemies away. Make sure you kill them.
• When you get near the bowl entrance, save the game. We’re not going to spoil the fun, but things are about to get hairy...
• When you approach the bowl, don’t dive right in - you’ll be blown to bits - go around left or right (we think left is best...), and scout out the area.
• Be careful for mines around the bowl!
• While you’re near the bowl, keep the ridge to your right - the snipers are still all around you, and you want to avoid a crossfire.
• When you see the little town ahead, slow down and try to spot enemy in the distance. Take them out with sniper fire if you can. It’s better than having them all pile on you when you get to town.
• When going through the town, keep all your team in a crouch position, while you hunt down the mortar guys. And keep close to the walls, remember?
• After the town, you’re going to secure a weapons cache. This will make what happened to you in the bowl look like a tea party. Before you head out, heal all your men, reload, and save, save, save...
• There is a truck somewhere in the level. It’s great for getting where you want to go quick, but don’t use it until you’ve cleared an area - it makes you a sitting duck. And it gets stuck when you bash it into walls, so drive carefully.
