Mosul: The al Qaeda Connection
This week’s Kuma\War mission is a cordon and knock operation that takes us to a house in Mosul, Iraq where soldiers from the 101st Airborne encounter terrorists from the Ansar al-Islam terrorist group, part of al Zarqawi’s network. Ansar al-Islam militants were spawned by al Qaeda, trained in northern Iraq, and after being bombed out of their mountain compound by US Special forces and local Kurdish fighters at the start of the war, moved their operations into cities like Mosul.

I prefer playing and discovering in multiplayer coop instead of using the AI teammates...but I'm the first person to upgrade to 1.19 and I can't play multiplayer with the old version, so I had to tide myself over with some single player on this mission.
I really liked the bit I played through. This is what I love about tactical shooters: CQB. I can play through the open urban areas often using just one guy, but clearing buildings of this size is a challenge I welcome, and teams help. Nice job!
Time to go see what the new multiplayer weapons are.

I love this mission. The shot gun is a nice touch.
